How to make crispy buttermilk chicken Recipe
- Combine buttermilk, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix the chicken in this marinade. Keep the marinade in a refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours. You can keep it in the refrigerator over the night for the best result.
- In another mixing bowl, combine yogurt, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, and paprika. Coat the marinated chicken with this yogurt mixture.
- In a big size bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, baking soda, cayenne pepper, celery salt, and garlic powder. Mix them well. Place the chicken in the flour mixture and completely covered all sides with this. Cover all the chicken pieces with this flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pot over medium to high flame. Heat the oil until it reaches 365°F. Dip chicken pieces one after another and fry in a batch. Deep fry them until they are cooked through or 7-8 minutes.
